Like all other Lifefitness products, the X7crosstrainer convinces through high-grade manufacture. The X7 can be combined with either the basic or the advanced console. The advanced console, unlike the basic one, has heart rate controlled training programmes and further extra functions.
The heart rate can be measured without a chest strap via hand pulse sensors if desired.
The body is exercised effectively and in many ways due to the synchronised movement of arms and legs. The muscles being used at any point during the workout are shown on a small activity monitor. The stride length can be adjusted individually by the push of a button even whilst running. A special training mode (LegSculpter) makes it possible to change the stride length by only a few centimetres at a time every two minutes. Thus a variety of different muscles are exercised.
